Press Release

With unsurpassable cruelty, again, today the US State Department denied a visa to Adriana Pérez O’ Connor, preventing her from visiting her husband Gerardo Hernández Nordelo who is suffering unjust imprisonment in the United States for peacefully and unarmed fighting against the actions of anti-Cuba terrorists groups that have been supported and protected by successive US administrations, including the current one.

For his heroism, Gerardo was sentenced to two life sentences plus 15 years, and as if this brutal and illegal punishment was not enough, the US government has prohibited him for 11 years to receive visits from his wife. This decision confirms that, as far as sponsoring terrorism against Cuba, nothing has changed in Washington.

In unprecedented cynicism, the US Secretary of State considers that Adriana “constitutes a threat to the national stability and security of the United States”.

Before so much indecency, words are not necessary.

Until when?
