OLGA SALANUEVA DENIED A US VISA AGAIN
On July 16, Adriana Perez and Olga Salanueva, the wives of Gerardo Hernandez and Rene Gonzalez, were summoned to the US Interests Section in Havana for an interview they had requested in January in order to ask once again for a US visa to visit their husbands held in US prisons.
After seven months and for the ninth time, Olga has been denied a visa on the grounds that she was deported from the US in November 2000, specifying in written, that she is declared "permanently ineligible for a visa."
In the case of Adriana, also her ninth try, request is pending an answer. In the previous eight times Adriana was denied the entry in US territory.
On 8 separate occasions, the U.S. government has denied entry visas to Adriana Perez (TOP) and Olga Salanueva (BOTTOM) to visit their imprisoned husbands.
It has been almost 10 years since they last embraced.
