Dear friends who support us:
Another year goes by, and along with it a chapter of the brutal injustice against us and our families. It has been a tough year in particular, marked not only by the last of the judicial barbarities of this case, but irreplaceable losses added to what we have personally endured, just for the crime of defending a small, modest and courageous people against terrorism.
In spite of this situation we are facing, we have arrived at the end of this year filled with an optimistic spirit. In the face of our captors’ obsession, solidarity, that is, all of you, has been multiplied in quality and number. All those days of sporadic messages and isolated voices have lagged behind. Today you have become a human tide who demands our justice in public squares, unions, social organizations, parliaments and governmental venues.
That solidarity overwhelms us and makes us feel humble. What you have achieved with your noble sympathy and selfless solidarity is something our victimizers will never do with their blackmails, despise for their own laws and abuse of power.
We put our armor down before you, we open our hearts, we abandon our endurance, we put our fighting spirit aside, we lay down our pride of being morally superior to those who attack us, and we modestly lean our foreheads to say:
Thank you very much! We will never let you down.
